Replaces the experimental standard XP P 98-137 dated May 2001 that remains in force until January 1 2008. Correspondence The European standard EN 13108-2:2006 has the status of French standard. Analysis This document specifies the requirements for mixtures belonging to the family of very thin asphalt concrete that is used on roads airfields and other areas where there is traffic. Currently only the empirical requirements are specified that can be explained by a lack of basic testing on very thin bituminous concrete. However the definitive objective is to define the very thin bituminous concrete in tems of fundamental properties based on its performance.
